BEHIND THE SCENES SS26.
For our SS26 campaign, we chose Barcelona as the backdrop—a city where art, architecture, and the Mediterranean rhythm come together. A place that perfectly reflects what J.C. RAGS stands for: contrast in balance. Raw yet refined. Functional yet expressive. Urban yet free.
The Shoot
In the early morning, the city slowly came to life as our Urban Nomad moved through the clean, white geometry of the gallery. The interplay of reflections on glass and concrete gave every movement an almost serene intensity. Soft light traced across skin and fabric, allowing the collection's contrasts to reveal their full strength—clean, modern, and effortlessly confident.
Later, among the city's narrow streets, the day gathered momentum. Café terraces filled up, shutters opened, and rays of sunlight filtered into hidden alleyways. The Urban Nomad blended seamlessly into the local rhythm: an espresso resting on the table, the turn of a newspaper page, the sound of worn stone beneath each step. Here, the fabrics and silhouettes took on a spontaneous, urban energy.
By midday, the shoot shifted once again—this time on two wheels. As the city drifted past, the camera captured movement, speed, and a sense of freedom. A coat billowing in the wind, a fleeting reflection in a shop window, the sharp backlight while crossing a zebra crossing—every scene reinforced the collection's nomadic spirit.
As the day drew to a close, we found calm by the coast. The horizon turned to gold, and the shoreline settled into a softer rhythm. Sand beneath bare feet, silhouettes dancing in the breeze, and figures slowly dissolving into the last light of day. Here, freedom and purity came together, creating a natural conclusion to a day defined by movement.
